Aimag Partnership Project
In October 2008, World Growth Mongolia announced a grassroots partnership that brings together Mongolia’s leading small and medium-sized business owners and local community leaders to advocate for sound solutions to strengthen Mongolia’s economy.
The initiative – The Aimag Partnership Project – is a nation-wide network of small and medium-sized business owners, community leaders and former government officials. The network will also serve to advise World Growth Mongolia on the challenges and opportunities facing Mongolia, especially in the rural areas of the country.
World Growth Mongolia’s Aimag Partnership Project is currently in 10 aimags including: Zavkhan; Gobi Altai; Bayankhongor; Arkhangai; Khentii; Dornod; Sukhbaatar; Dundgov; Omnogov; and Uvurkhangai with over 75 advisory members. The Partnership Project will be across all of Mongolia by early 2009.
